Solano County Credentialed Board and Care Homes

Solano County, California has many Board and Care homes, officially called Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) and also known as a private residential care home for seniors and the elderly, residential board & care home for seniors and the elderly, elderly and senior housing, and memory care homes.

All of our Solano County residential care homes for the elderly (RCFE) have been through our credentialing process, consistent with the Memento Foundation's mission to improve the lives of the elderly in board and care homes and their families.  This means:

- they have been recommended by a visiting nurse, physician, social worker or other health professional;

- we visit the home and know the administrator; 

- the administrator participates in continuing education, and; 

- we survey families on their satisfaction with the home.

We apologize for any inconvenience but we do not list our Solano County care homes individually, because care homes must remain current in our credentialing program over time. We have had problems where people view an old saved or "cached" page from our site, making it appear that a care home is current, when in fact it is not. We also want the opportunity to convey information relevant to your loved one's mobility, mental acuity, other health needs, and their interests and location preferences. Solano County, California is large and we have residential care homes in most areas within Solano County. Not surprisingly there are care homes around hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Other locations relevant to seniors and the elderly include community centers and senior centers, libraries, performing and visual arts centers, and shopping districts accessible to seniors and the elderly.  Most of our board and cares have easy access to major highways.
