What do YOU see in our logo?

I personally find logos fascinating because they turn a symbol into the identity of a business.  McDonald's Golden Arches, Starbucks, and the Nike Swoosh are instantly recognizable.  Because logos are so important to a business, I thought it would be helpful to share the basis of our logo at Memento.  My wife and I are fortunate enough to have a brillant freelance designer/illustrator in the family, Rob Nance, who designed our logo.  As the founders of Memento, we requested a design that would include a heart shaped locket with a house inside.  

We feel that the homes in the Memento Network bring back fond memories of the homes that our residents have lived in.  These residents hold these homes in a warm place in their heart, just like the pictures of loved ones that normally are kept inside a locket.  Our care home owners and their caregivers want your loved one to feel just as happy and secure in their care homes as they did in their own homes.  Love-Locket-Home...that's what I see in our logo.
